Igor Vladimirovich Bolotov

Member of the St. Petersburg Union of Artists. Member of the Society of Watercolorists St. Petersburg. Corresponding Member of the Peter Academy of Sciences and Arts.

Born in 1958 in Leningrad. 1971-77 - study at the Secondary Art School at the institute named after I.E. Repin Academy of Arts of the USSR.

1978-1984 - study at the institute named after I.Е. Repin Academy of Arts of the USSR.

1991- Entered LOSH in the painting section. Since that time, he has participated in almost all seasonal and thematic exhibitions of the Union of Artists.
In 2005, with a group of artists takes part in the paintings of the palace of the prince, and now the king Amir-Salman
(Saudi Arabia, Riyadh). According to Arab impressions - a cycle of watercolors.
2005-2006 - participation in "R.A.P." ("Russian Art Project", Vashington, U.S.A.)
2008 - resident of "Cite internationale des Arts" (Paris, France).
2010 -Participation in the Russian-French exhibition "Small formats-big names" in the framework of the project "Cultural crossroads" (Paris).
2011 - participant of the exhibition "Geniuses and Masterpieces" in the CEH (St. Petersburg).
2011 - invited to the reconstruction of five compositions in the Great Sea Cathedral of Kronstadt.
2012 - an exhibition and master classes at the National Mexican Museum of watercolor to them. Guati Rojo (Mexico City).
2013 - the reconstruction of six paintings in the Fedorovskaya Church of the Alexander Nevsky Monastery.
2013 - the re-creation of the composition "Anticipation of the Savior of the Apostles Peter and Paul" on the eastern facade of the Cathedral of Peter and Paul Fortress (St. Petersburg).
Since 2013 he has been teaching at the Institute. I.E. Repin A.Kh. Russia.
2016 - elected a corresponding member of the Petrovsky Academy of Sciences and Arts.

His works are in the National Mexican Museum of Watercolor (Mexico), in the Museum of History of St. Petersburg (Peter and Paul Fortress), in the Harbin Art Museum of Russian Painting "Spring Wind" (China, Harbin), in the collections of Russia and abroad.

Since 2003 he has been writing and publishing stories, accompanying them with his drawings.
